Respiratory Therapist Job in Davenport, IA

Genesis Medical Center Davenport East is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, managing airways, administering oxygen therapy, and operating ventilators and other respiratory equipment.

Assignment Details

• Location: Davenport, IA
• Facility: Genesis Medical Center Davenport East
• Duration: 90 days
• Start Date: November 16, 2026

Shift Information

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12.5-hour night shifts
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 1 holiday shift required during assignment

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $2,136.42

Role Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess patient respiratory status, collect blood samples for blood gas analysis, perform pulmonary function tests, and maintain detailed patient records. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Qualifications

You hold an Allied Health Professional credential as a Respiratory Therapist and maintain current licensure or certification as required by the State of Iowa. You are comfortable working night shifts in a hospital setting and can adapt quickly to facility-specific protocols and equipment.
