Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Practice independently in a med/surg clinical setting
• Provide routine and complex nursing care to assigned patients
• Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
