Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Sault St. Marie, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 70-week outpatient position at MyMichigan Health - Sault in Sault St. Marie, Michigan. This is a part-time role working 5x8 day shifts with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,981
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Schedule: Days only, no weekends or on-call

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Submit written treatment plans as part of the physician-authorized plan of care and update as needed to reflect changes in patient status
• Devise frequency and duration-specific treatment schedules in coordination with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale including rest, exercise, modalities, and other interventions
• Delegate responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides as appropriate

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License (LARA must state Active)
• Physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year and pertinent to Physical Therapy
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility
