Physical Therapist Job in Lincoln, MI

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at MyMichigan Health - Lincoln Location. This is a temporary position offering 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts during daytime hours with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,877.41
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 7, 2026
• Schedule: Days only, no weekends or on-call

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Submit written treatment regimens as part of the physician-authorized plan of care and update as needed to reflect changes in patient status
• Co-sign verbal orders received by physical therapist assistants as necessary
• Devise frequency and duration-specific treatment schedules in coordination with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding pathology, condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale
• Delegate responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan PT license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory references completed within the last two years
• Current skills checklist pertinent to physical therapy specialty (completed within 1 year)
• Outpatient experience required
• Acute care experience highly preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
