Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2-3 weekdays of on-call required per month
• Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods including bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication methods
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, or students
• Uphold all healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies including legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources
• Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Active RN license required (single state or multi-state compact)
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must possess strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based practice skills required
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology to support clinical care required
