Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 10:45 AM to 9:45 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Function as a circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery hours
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required
• Some charge nurse responsibilities may be required
• Minimum 2-3 years of open-heart circulating experience required
• Previous travel experience in an open-heart CVOR setting preferred
• At least 1 year of Cardiovascular OR experience required
• Dual role of scrub and circulating preferred
• Demonstrates excellent skills in circulating role
• Must be available for call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) and ACLS (required within 180 days of hire)
• Active RN license required (single state or multi-state compact)
• Must have thorough knowledge of new trends and techniques in cardiovascular surgery
• Must be able to multi-task using critical thinking skills and anticipate surgical team needs
• Must be capable of prioritizing appropriate patient care in emergency situations
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Basic keyboarding skills required
• Flexible availability required due to the needs of continued patient care
