Occupational Therapist Job in Devils Lake, ND

You will provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting at Altru Clinic in Devils Lake, North Dakota. This is an 8-hour shift position with a duration of 91 days, beginning May 27, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,482.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate and treat patients in compliance with licensure standards
• Work with interdisciplinary teams on patient goal development and care planning
• Select and perform evaluation and treatment methods based on patient age, diagnosis, and physician orders
• Orient patients and families to therapy evaluation and treatment procedures
• Provide patient education, family teaching, and support
• Coordinate treatment schedules with other disciplines
• Monitor program effectiveness and outcomes
• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action
• Document all required patient information, including precautions, orders, and initial care plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discharge planning
• Provide clinical supervision to OTA staff

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of occupational therapy experience
• Inpatient and/or outpatient experience required
• North Dakota Occupational Therapist License (OTR/L)
• NBCOT certification
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• BLS certification (AHA)
