ED RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a travel nursing position offering 89 days of work on a 3x12 nights schedule, with a weekly pay of $2,446.20.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and care team members
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical orders
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise care plans as needed
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Contribute to improvements in national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ED specialty
• BLS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional nursing certification
