ED Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, working 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on a variable schedule.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights
• Duration: 96 weeks
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,841

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Cerner electronic health record experience required

Holiday Obligations:

You must commit to working 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day. Additionally, you must work 1 of the following minor holidays: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Candidate Requirements:

Travel nurse candidates must reside more than 50 miles from Atlanta. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not considered for this position.

In the Emergency Department, you will assess and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions, triage incoming patients, administer medications and therapies, monitor vital signs and patient status, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective care. Your clinical judgment and ability to remain composed during high-acuity situations are essential to success in this role.
