ED RN Job in Augusta, GA

AU Medical Center, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. You will care for patients in a fast-paced inpatient ED setting, working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Assignment Details

• 91-day travel assignment starting April 10, 2026
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Available to work various days of the week
• Minimum every-other-weekend availability required
• Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required
• Two 24-hour call shifts required within an 8-week period
• Weekly pay: $1,864.80

Your Role

You will provide relationship-based, patient-centered care in the emergency department. Your responsibilities include performing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinating safe quality patient care, documenting care appropriately, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews. You will respond to emergencies and complete all mandatory education and professional competency assessments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Current RN license (single state or compact)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required within 180 days
• ACLS certification required within 180 days
• TNCC certification required within 18 months
