Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Every-other-weekend requirement; nights scheduled Friday/Saturday
• No floating between units
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Floor-specific orientation consists of 1-2 twelve-hour shifts depending on experience
• Work in a 40-bed emergency department including 2 trauma bays, 7 rapid medical exam beds, and 2 psych/seclusion rooms
• Treat approximately 120 patients per day including MVC, STEMI, stroke, overdose, and behavioral health cases
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system and Phillips telemetry/monitoring equipment
• Work with ventilators including Servo U, Hamilton G5, Hamilton T1, Philips Respironics V60, and AirVo/MaxTech high flow systems
• Perform lab draws as there is no dedicated IV team
• Navy blue scrubs required; navy or white jacket; white or navy undershirt; natural hair color; distasteful tattoos must be covered
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of previous ER experience in a similar size and volume emergency department required
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Preferred certifications: CEN, TCRN, CPEN
