ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts with weekday, some weekend, and holiday coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Must be willing to work weekends; blocked schedule cannot be guaranteed but unit will attempt to group shifts when possible
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• WV or Compact license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be through American Heart Association)
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, NRP, TNCC
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Experience with charting system AllScripts/McKesson required; Cerner charting used at facility
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Key skills include triage, IV management, blood product administration, cardiac monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, splint application, and management of trauma, neurological, and behavioral health conditions
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
