ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• No on-call requirements
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with 24 beds
• Care for patients with neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal emergencies with a special focus on trauma
• High psychiatric patient population with no separate psych area
• Manage multiple high acuity and boarding patients
• Charting system: Cerner
• Required skills include IV starts, telemetry, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, chest tube management, procedural sedation, triage, and management of dysrhythmias
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with at least 1 year of in-specialty experience
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through the American Heart Association)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
