Job Details:

• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required; strong robotics, ortho, and neuro experience required
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed
• Block scheduling is not available
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal); NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Strong skills required across a wide range of OR procedures including robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurological procedures, and general surgery
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mako Surgical System, and Hana Table preferred
• Must be willing to participate in training as this is a teaching facility, including working with students and new staff
• Orientation is 40 hours; EKG and pharmacology tests required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
• Pre-start modules are required, averaging 6 to 15 hours, and are non-billable
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 55 patients across 18 operating rooms
• Facility does not accept any license hits
• Smoke-free facility: all travelers must be nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
