RN - OR

Job Details:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Scheduled day off based on department needs with special requests considered when possible
• Scheduled late stays a few times per month (approximately 5-8 days per month)
• No on-call required
• Possibility of floating within Periop facility
• Block scheduling available per manager's discretion
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience required in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints, and ENT
• Unit does not perform general surgery, L&D, or pediatrics
• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Orthopedic surgical cases include knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist, elbow, and hip scopes, ACL, MPFL, cuff repairs, hand/elbow, foot and ankle, total hips, knees, and shoulders, with limited spine cases
• Anesthesia staff moves patients to and from OR using motorized stretchers
• Special equipment includes Skytron slider beds, Neptune suction, Stryker power tools, Arthrex integrated arthroscopy on booms, mini-C and large-C arms, Hanna Table, Trios table, Zeiss Microscope/Wilson frame, and orthopedic positioning equipment
• Charting system: Epic (preferred)
• Scrub ability a plus but not required
• Required certifications: BLS, SC or Compact RN License
• Radiation badge must be provided by parent company
• All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
