OR RN Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You'll work 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts, as a flexible member of the surgical team across General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics service lines. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 31, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Complete the Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Prep the operating room for patient procedures
• Position and prepare patients on the operating table
• Perform circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate activities of other team members
• Execute immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Serve as communication liaison between family members and the operating team
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations
• Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities as scheduled

You'll need proficiency with computer systems used for patient care delivery. Weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities are part of this role. You're expected to demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation.

Compensation is $2,219.20 per week. This position offers you the opportunity to expand your perioperative nursing skills across multiple surgical specialties while experiencing a new community.
