CT Technologist Job in Towson, MD

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a temporary assignment in Towson, MD. This is a night shift position running 3x12 hours per week for 91 days, beginning December 2, 2026. You will earn $2,821 weekly.

Key Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts required
• No scheduling restrictions—you must be available for the facility's schedule
• Night shift hours only

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform all CT procedures under general supervision
• Operate computed tomography and radiography equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images
• Prepare examination areas and position patients for procedures
• Adjust imaging equipment to correct settings for CT department examinations
• Calculate and select proper techniques and protocols using ALARA principles
• Assist physicians during procedures with medical equipment, instruments, contrast materials, and medications
• Apply sterile technique for procedures when applicable
• Transfer image data to PACS and V-RAD environments for physician review
• Maintain records and technical notations required by regulatory agencies
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and ensure proper supply stocking
• Draw blood and introduce IVs according to established procedures
• Assist in scheduling and flow of CT examinations
• Help instruct CT equipment operation and theory to radiology students and other personnel
• Participate in formal teaching programs and in-service education as required
• Perform related clerical tasks including retrieving records, answering phones, and scheduling patients
