Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Spartanburg, SC

SRHS (Spartanburg) - SMC (Church & Mary Black) is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment in the NICU. You will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend required (10–12 weekend shifts per contract). Weekly pay is $2,164.

Role Overview

Your primary assignment is in the NICU with the ability to float to PICU and PEDS as needed. You will care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with a typical patient ratio of 8 per shift. You must be proficient in a broad range of respiratory therapy skills including BiPAP, CPAP, mechanical ventilation, high frequency oscillator, nitric oxide, direct intubation (neonatal and pediatric), arterial blood gas drawing and interpretation, bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care and management, high flow nasal cannula, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Requirements

• 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current RRT certification
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• South Carolina State Licensure
• NBRC certification
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Recent Epic experience preferred but not required
• Pass/Fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test at orientation (required for all units)
