Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. You will deliver specialized respiratory care to neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU and pediatric critical care setting.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Duration: 91 days, starting November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,327
• Holiday rotation and every other weekend required
• No on-call duties
• Facility may call off one shift per two weeks

Role Scope

You will provide respiratory care across neonatal and pediatric populations, including bronchoscopy assistance, extubation support, and management of pediatric critical care patients. Floating within your scope of practice may be required depending on your experience. No floating to sister facilities is required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience; 3 years preferred
• NICU Level IV experience required; Pediatric ICU experience considered
• Current RRT certification
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NBRC certification and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license in hand at start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Trauma Level I facility experience

Block scheduling is available with prior approval but not guaranteed. Scrubs are Caribbean Blue. Parking passes cost $20 one-time and apply only to night and weekend shifts.
