Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Greenville, SC

Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a pediatric respiratory therapy role. You will work day shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, with every-other-weekend coverage required. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,217.

Role Overview

You will provide respiratory care to pediatric patients across pediatrics floors, PICU, ER, and NICU. You may float to other units and campuses based on census needs, provided you have demonstrated and documented competency for those assignments. You will use the Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems and document all care in the EPIC EMR system.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aerosol setup (mask and trach)
• Administer medications including albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Xopenex, and Mucomyst
• Provide bag and mask ventilation and capillary blood gas collection
• Initiate and manage high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy
• Deliver metered-dose inhaler (MDI) and hand-held nebulizer treatments
• Apply and monitor trach collar and apnea monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential for SC licensure
• National respiratory therapy license or certificate
• Minimum 1 year of overall respiratory therapy experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Direct work-setting experience in Emergency Department, Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatrics
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
