Physical Therapist Job in Ranger, TX

You will work as a Physical Therapist in a long-term care setting at Senior Living Properties - Ranger. This is a temporary position with a start date of October 12, 2026, and a duration of 91 days.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, days only
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,381

Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, systems reviews, and tests and measures to collect clinical data
• Establish individualized plans of care and select treatment techniques to address specific patient impairments
• Conduct ongoing reassessment of patients and their response to treatment
• Initiate and manage discharge planning from the first visit through the course of treatment
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff and students in accordance with state laws and department policy
• Complete accurate, legible, and timely documentation meeting accreditation and insurance requirements
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members using the AIDET communication framework
• Assess and address educational needs of patients, families, and caregivers
• Participate in professional development activities, in-service meetings, workshops, and continuing education
• Actively participate in quality improvement activities
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in compliance with approved safety standards
• Function within the scope of practice as defined by Texas state practice act

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience in a long-term care setting
• Texas or compact state license
