Job Details:

• Weekend position working every Saturday and Sunday, plus one rotating weekday each week
• 3 years of experience required
• Minimum availability of 6 call shifts in a 6-week period, which may vary
• Holiday coverage required - must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• No block scheduling
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most surgical areas except cardiovascular and transplant, as floating where needed is required
• Trauma Level I experience required - candidates with at least 1 year of Level I trauma experience may be considered with 2+ years total experience
• Core surgical areas include: General, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, Colorectal, and Robotics
• Average daily census of 70-80 patients across 21-24 rooms
• Required skills include but are not limited to: craniotomy, total joint replacement, robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi), laparoscopic procedures, spinal fusions, trauma, and a broad range of general and specialty surgical procedures
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS also required
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to submission - no pending licenses accepted
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required
