Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a rotating shift position with day shift as the primary schedule, plus on-call one night per week and one weekend per month. The assignment runs 91 days, beginning August 27, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,826.

Role Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
• Perform comprehensive assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with established standards
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care
• Provide patient and family education at the appropriate level of understanding
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and patient experience; manage complex situations and delegate appropriately
• Engage in continuous learning and evidence-based practice
• Participate in peer review and peer feedback opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure
• 3 years of RN experience required
• 1 year of critical care experience required
• Cardiovascular intervention experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Must successfully pass EKG test
