Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in La Crosse, WI

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with cardiac catheterization laboratory experience for a 91-day travel assignment at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. You will work in a specialized cardiac cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 evenings, 72 hours guaranteed biweekly
• On-call: 1–2 nights per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 30-minute response time) and every 4th–5th weekend (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Float within cath lab only
• Weekly pay: $3,168
• Start date: August 10, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of cath lab experience
• Strong scrubbing experience with interventional cardiologists
• Experience with structural heart procedures: TAVRs, Mitraclips, and Watchman (hard requirement)
• Experience with high-risk PCIs and Impella support
• Epic charting proficiency
• WI RN License, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS certifications
• Minimum education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)

Role Overview

You will work alongside 3 interventional cardiologists within 4-person teams of RNs and technicians. Primary procedures include diagnostic catheterizations, high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions, and structural heart cases. The facility provides surgical blue scrubs. This role requires clinical judgment, precision, and the ability to support complex, time-sensitive procedures while maintaining excellent teamwork and communication.
