Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a Telemetry Unit on the 3rd floor of the main campus focusing on cardiac and neuro patients
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 3-4 weekend shifts per month required with no on-call responsibilities
• Day shift includes 1 CNC/charge nurse, 8 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 0-1 sitters
• Night shift includes 1 CNC/charge nurse, 8 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 0-1 sitters
• Work with telemetry boxes, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• EKG interpretation, IV start, and chest tube management skills required
• Receive patients after heart catheterization, pacemaker placement, ablation, watchman, valve repair, and cardioversion procedures
• Float to PCU and Med/Surg as needed
• No specific scrub color required; no visible piercings permitted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Ideal candidate is a quick learner with great communication skills and dependability
