Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work a 3x12 night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Your Role:

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and deliver telemetry care as needed
• Adapt to various specialty units based on daily staffing needs
• Float to all medical-surgical floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, and Surgical Telemetry
• Float to West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 182 days, starting June 29, 2026
• Shift: Three 12-hour nights per week
• Weekly pay: $2,213.64
• Credential required: RN

This resource pool role requires flexibility and strong clinical assessment skills as you will move across multiple units to support daily census and acuity needs. You must be comfortable with telemetry monitoring and capable of delivering care across medical-surgical specialty areas. The assignment includes both the main Des Moines facility and the West Lakes Campus location.
