MRI Technologist Job in Alton, IL

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at Alton Memorial Hospital, a community hospital in Alton, Illinois. This position offers a 4x10 day schedule, working Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with every 5th weekend on-call Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Execute image post-processing and work with T-1 and T-2 weighted images
• Manage IV starts, PACS systems, and contrast administration
• Care for patients across all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle a daily caseload of approximately 22 patients per technologist

Facility Details:

• MRI suite with 2 rooms
• Community hospital setting with outpatient, inpatient, and ER environments
• No parking costs
• Black scrubs required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Allied Health Professional degree
• Current Illinois license at time of submittal
• BLS, ARRT (MR), and IEMA certifications required
• First-time travelers accepted

Contract Details:

• 112-week contract starting November 23, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,790
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
