MRI Technologist Job in Peoria, IL

You will work as an MRI Technologist at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. This is a travel position running 140 days, starting November 30, 2026. You'll earn $2,532 weekly.

Shift and Schedule

You'll work 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, primarily Wednesday through Friday, with one weekend shift required per month. Your shift runs 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. There is no on-call or standby requirement.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate GE MRI scanners: 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W) models
• Perform standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning
• Cover outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients
• Start intravenous lines as required
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines at all times
• Use Epic EMR and PACS charting systems
• Work with GE department-specific equipment

Support and Environment

One MRI Tech assistant will be available per 8-hour shift to support your work. You will receive one week of department-specific orientation, with duration dependent on your familiarity with the GE scanner type.

Requirements and Credentials

You must hold current BLS (AHA) certification, RTR (Radiologic Technologist Registered), and ARRT MR specialty certification.

Dress Code and Policies

Standard solid-colored scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility. Tattoos must be covered. Holiday coverage may be required.
