Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Operating Room. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing direct patient care in a Level 1 trauma center serving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Schedule & Expectations

• On-call required up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekend coverage required up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift total

Role Details

• Train to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• May float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities
• Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Radiation Badge required (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
