Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,056
• On-call required: up to 4 shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekend requirement: up to one shift every 4 weeks
• Holiday requirement: at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule available upon manager approval based on unit needs

Role Responsibilities

• Train to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• May float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• Chart using EPIC system

Required Qualifications

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Radiation Badge (provided by agency)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of operating room experience
• Scrub experience
• First-time travelers accepted
