OR RN Job in Florence, SC

Join McLeod Regional Medical Center as an Operating Room RN on a 90-day travel assignment. You'll work 5x8 day shifts beginning September 27, 2026, earning $2,191 weekly.

Your Role

You will deliver direct patient care across multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics. Your responsibilities include both circulating and scrub duties as assigned, requiring you to work efficiently within and outside the sterile field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Prep the operating room for patients and procedures
• Position and prepare patients on the operating table
• Complete Safe Surgery checklists in accordance with service excellence standards
• Perform circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities during urgent and emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Serve as communication liaison between the surgical team and family members
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in appropriate formats
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Maintain competency with computer programs used to deliver patient care
• Participate in assigned on-call duties as scheduled

What You'll Need

You must hold a current RN license and be prepared to work weekends and call shifts. Continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings is expected.
