Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will work three 12-hour day shifts, scheduled 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with an 91-day contract starting November 9, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,056.

Shift and Schedule Requirements

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• On-call duties: up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Holiday requirement: you will work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• Block schedule available upon manager approval dependent on unit needs

Role Responsibilities

• Work as both scrub and circulating nurse for surgical procedures
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities as required
• Provide care in a Level 1 trauma setting

Requirements

• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
