OR RN Job in Florence, SC

Join McLeod Regional Medical Center as an Operating Room RN on a 90-day travel assignment. You'll work 4x10 hour day shifts, delivering direct patient care and perioperative support across multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Prep the operating room for each patient and procedure, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and accessible
• Position and prepare patients on the operating table while maintaining safety protocols
• Perform circulating duties with efficiency, managing communication between the surgical team and family members
• Complete the Safe Surgery checklist in accordance with service excellence standards
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing directives in urgent or emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and established standards of practice
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff, working within or outside the sterile field as assigned
• Assist in control and maintenance of surgical supplies and equipment throughout procedures
• Document all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the appropriate formats and systems
• Maintain proficiency with computer programs used to deliver patient care
• Participate in assigned on-call duties as scheduled

You'll work weekends and call shifts as part of the schedule. This role requires you to demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings. Assignment Details: 90 days, starting October 18, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,336.
