Job Details:

• Work across various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and more
• Schedule includes weekends and call shifts
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate activities of other team members while executing directives in urgent or emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist in accordance with service excellence standards
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the appropriate format and forms
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff, assuming duties within or outside of the sterile field as assigned
• Prep operating room for patient and procedure
• Position and prepare patient on operating table
• Serve as communication liaison to family and members of the operating team
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Maintain knowledge of computer programs utilized to deliver patient care
• Participate in assigned call as scheduled
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings
