RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract duration
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• Department scrub color: Black
• EMR system used: MEDHOST
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: AZ RN License, ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• Use telemetry equipment to track heart rhythms (EKG), blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and other vital signs
• Analyze telemetry data to identify trends, abnormalities, and potential problems and report findings to physicians
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and patient education with a focus on cardiac health
• Recognize and respond to emergencies such as cardiac arrest and implement appropriate interventions
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
• No option for 48-hour guarantee
• No option for block booking
• RTO blackout dates: 11/26/26, 12/24–12/25/26, 12/31/26–1/01/27
• Maximum RTO hours: 36
