Occupational Therapist Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Texsan is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in San Antonio, Texas. You will work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with two weekend shifts per month and a corresponding weekday off. This role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week and weekly pay of $2,005.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform in-patient rehab occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for neuro and ortho patients
• Provide acute care evaluations and treatments across orthopedic, telemetry, and ICU units
• Float as needed per facility floating policy
• Participate in call requirements to be discussed during your interview

Requirements:

• Active OT license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience; 2–3 years in rehab and/or acute hospital settings preferred
• In-patient rehab and/or hospital experience required
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
• NDT or brain injury certifications preferred

Facility Information:

You will use the Meditech documentation system. Methodist Hospital Texsan maintains specific professional appearance standards: wear sage green or olive scrub tops with black scrub pants and a sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only. Nails must be clean and healthy. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be neatly trimmed. Cover body art whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
