Occupational Therapist Job in El Paso, TX

Avir at Patriot in El Paso, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day temporary assignment in long-term care. You will work day shifts, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with no on-call responsibilities or weekend shifts required.

Your Role:

• Help people of all ages improve, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on comprehensive assessments
• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to inform treatment strategies
• Teach therapeutic activities that support patient progress and independence
• Recommend assistive devices and adapt environments to meet individual patient needs
• Provide education to patients and their families to promote greater independence and well-being

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Texas state license or compact license required
