Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Glendale, AZ

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona. This is a 89-day travel assignment with a start date of July 20, 2026. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week and earn $2,549 weekly.

Your Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in the cath lab setting, following organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments—physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural—while planning for discharge needs.

You'll review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results promptly to physicians and appropriate caregivers. You'll formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and the medical plan of care. As part of the healthcare team, you'll delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other personnel, then evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed.

Accurate and timely documentation of assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses is essential. You'll also participate in shared leadership, education, and mentoring of facility personnel, patients, and students.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Cath lab experience required
• Scrubbing experience desired
• Structural heart experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
