Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. This position offers a 3x12 day shift schedule and is available for a 54-week assignment beginning May 18, 2026. Weekly compensation is $2,446.20.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for catheterization laboratory patients
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments that address physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Reviewing patient history and physical examination findings with patients and families within appropriate timeframes
• Monitoring diagnostic and laboratory data and reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Formulating and implementing comprehensive care plans, including discharge planning
• Providing direct patient care and coordinating healthcare team activities
• Documenting assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participating in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility staff and students

You must hold a current valid RN license in the state of Arizona or compact licensure. BLS certification is required. You will need a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience, with experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, as is professional certification in your specialty. You must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the catheterization laboratory work area. You should be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics. Standard precautions are required due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
