About the Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in the cardiac catheterization lab setting, adhering to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural dimensions, along with discharge planning needs
• Reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and reporting abnormal findings to physicians and caregivers
• Formulating and implementing individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and the medical plan of care
• Delegating and supervising activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluating patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as appropriate
• Maintaining accurate, legible, and timely documentation of all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participating in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives to improve national nursing quality indicators

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet the physical demands of a direct patient care environment
• Exposure to blood and bodily fluids; standard precautions required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
