Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Prescott, AZ

You will work as a registered nurse in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West. This is a 91-day travel position starting October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,631.

Schedule and Expectations

• 4 × 10-hour day shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Call requirement: 30-minute response time
• Typically 1 night call shift per week (Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Typically 1 weekend call shift per 4-week period (Saturday–Sunday, 24 hours)
• Holiday call distributed equally among staff
• No floating requirements

Work Environment

• 3-room Cath Lab plus 1 Hybrid OR
• Average caseload: 13 to 26 cases per day
• Equipment: Philips X-ray machines
• EMR systems: Merge and Cerner for hemodynamic monitoring; Cerner for charting
• Hospital-provided OR scrubs

Your Responsibilities

• Control the C-arm during cases
• Scrub in to assist physicians during procedures
• Assist with patient preparation

Case Types and Patient Populations

You will manage cardiac, peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and pacemaker insertion cases. Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, coronary artery disease (CAD), peripheral artery disease (PAD), peripheral vascular disease (PVD), congestive heart failure (CHF), heart blocks, and cancer.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac case experience
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• BSN not required
