Med Surg RN Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract on a Medical-Surgical unit. You will work the night shift in a 4NW Ortho Neuro setting with opportunities to expand your experience across similar units based on census needs.

Position Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,462.40
• Start date: December 1, 2026
• Holiday rotation required; every other weekend rotation

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient ratio of 1:6, adjusting to 1:7 after 11:00 PM
• Indwelling drain removal and PICC line care and dressing changes
• Epic charting system
• Fast-paced acute care environment with strong documentation expectations

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Short-term acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Wisconsin RN License
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
