Telemetry RN Job in Sioux City, IA

Join UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown as a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry unit. You'll work the night shift (3x12) providing direct patient care on a medical/surgical telemetry floor, caring for post-operative patients recovering from procedures including prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications including Heparin drips
• Monitor telemetry patients and manage their recovery
• Use the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Work every other weekend with no on-call responsibilities

Position details:

• 91-day assignment starting December 7, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,367
• Night shift (3x12 hours)
• Navy blue dress code
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses

Requirements:

• Active Iowa or compact nursing license (Nursys verification required)
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted)
• NIHSS certification
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Telemetry
• One supervisory reference form completed within the last two years
• Valid driver's license
• Located at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willing to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
