Med Surg RN Job in New Braunfels, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical/Surgical nursing at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing full-time patient care on a med/surg unit.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and complex nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, general abdominal surgeries, and spinal procedures
• Apply the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to guide your clinical practice
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
• Document patient history, presenting symptoms, current medications, and all care provided
• Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks to other team members as needed

Position Requirements:

• Valid RN license in Texas or current compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

What We Offer:

You will earn $1,955 per week during this 91-day assignment, beginning November 1, 2026. This is a full-time opportunity where you will practice independently within a med/surg clinical setting while maintaining awareness of all relevant patient considerations.
