Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with a 3x12 schedule
• Every other weekend required; unit is closed on Sundays with possibility of floating to another area on Sundays
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• 2 years of experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, med/surg telemetry, peripheral line care and management, phlebotomy, and telemetry monitoring
• Care for adult patients including medical surgical, post interventional, neuro overflow, surgical overflow, and pre/post operative patients
• High risk, high functioning, high turnover, and high paced unit
• Responsibilities include acute medicine, tube feeds, oxygen titration, and total care
• Special procedures include phlebotomy
• Will float within service line to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• Charting system: EPIC
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
