Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit at Mercy Hospital St Louis. This is a 4x12 night shift position with a contract length of 91 days, starting August 3, 2026.

Pay and Hours

• Weekly pay: $2,581
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week, based on your preference
• No on-call requirements

Your Role

You will care for medical and telemetry adults (50% medical, 50% telemetry), managing a patient ratio of 4 to 6 patients per nurse. You will use the EPIC electronic medical record system and standard telemetry equipment. Black scrubs are required.

Float assignments to similar or lower acuity units may occur as needed. Orientation occurs during day shift hours; you must be available for the entire orientation week, even though your regular shifts are nights.

Schedule and Time Off

• Every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) is required, unless otherwise approved
• You are expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13 weeks can be automatically approved

Requirements

• Current RN license in Missouri or ability to meet Missouri licensure criteria
• 2+ years of telemetry experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
