Telemetry RN Job in Independence, MO

You will work as an RN on the 7N Cardiac Telemetry unit at Centerpoint Medical Center MO, located in Independence. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of December 14, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x12 nights (7 PM–7 AM)
• 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule (Friday and Saturday for night shifts)

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,620

Role Details

• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• Float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU as needed

Clinical Experience Required

• Recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal)
• Pacemaker placements
• Stroke patients
• Amiodarone drips
• Cardizem drips

Credentials and Certifications

• RN degree required
• ACLS required
• NIH certification preferred

Equipment and Systems

• Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn Vitals machines
• EMR: Meditech
• Scrub color: Grey for RNs
