Telemetry RN Job in Lee's Summit, MO

Join Lee's Summit Medical Center as a Telemetry RN on a 36-bed Medical/Surgical unit located on the Main Campus. This is a travel position offering 4x12 night shifts with a start date of December 14, 2026, for a 91-day assignment.

Position Details:

• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with every other weekend scheduling required
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on both day and night shifts
• Technician support available for every 10–12 patients
• First-to-float policy applies to orthopedic or telemetry units based on your competencies

Clinical Environment:

You will work with established equipment including Dynamap (WelchAllyn) monitoring systems, telemetry with nurses station screen capability, and Alaris IV pumps. Patient documentation is completed using the Meditech system. No procedures requiring conscious sedation are performed on this unit.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Strong time management and IV start skills
• Demonstrated patient experience skills

Patient Experience Standards:

This facility prioritizes patient-centered care. You will implement bedside shift reports, conduct hourly safety rounds, follow AIDET communication principles, and build personal connections with your patients.

Dress Code:

Charcoal gray top and bottom scrubs are required.

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,620.
