Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week based on candidate preference
• Assignment length of 13 to 26 weeks
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise approved)
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• No on-call requirements
• Float requirements to similar or lower acuity unit as needed
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13 weeks can be automatically approved
• Night shift orients on day shift - must be available the entire week for orientation
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6 patients per nurse (estimates, not guarantees)
• Patient population consists of 50% Medical and 50% Tele adults only
• EMR system: EPIC
• Standard nursing equipment used on Tele unit
• Scrub color: Black
• 2+ years of Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Current RN license required - must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
