Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6 to 1:7
• 24-bed unit serving med, med tele, and observation patients
• EMR system: EPIC
• Equipment used: telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• Scrub color requirement: black scrubs only
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience required
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not already held)
• Current RN license required, must meet criteria for eligibility in Missouri or be currently licensed in Missouri
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Maintain professional accountability for patient care and patient rights
• Role requires significant physical demands including standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
